• ND-YAG vascular laser

One of the most important devices in the treatment of vascular lesions is the Nd:YAG laser, with a wavelength that allows deep tissue targeting.

The operating principle is based on the use of the red pigment, the same as oxyhemoglobin in blood vessels, as a chromophore, thus the delivered energy has the ability to collapse the targeted vessel or treat certain pigment spots.

What can it be used for?

• vascular lesions such as: telangiectasias, hemangiomas, "spider veins";
• pigmentary lesions;
• treatment of diffuse erythema;
• onychomycosis;
• facial rejuvenation;
• definite hair removal.

What can you expect after the treatment?

Immediately after the procedure is completed, the treated areas must be cooled immediately to avoid dispersing the heat delivered by the laser.

In the following days after the treatment you may experience a slight erythema of the treated area. It is important to pay particular attention to sun exposure, which must be strictly avoided in the first week and carried out afterwards using cream with a protection factor of SPF 50+.
