About the treatment

The time allocated to the treatment is relatively short. This is a very comfortable and painless treatment. The injectable local anesthetic is placed in two points bilaterally, at the entrance of the cannula. This technique makes the procedure very comfortable, the cannula facilitating the uniform placement of the subcutaneous product and minimizing the formation of hematomas or other complications associated with aesthetic procedures.

Hyaluronic acid is placed subcutaneously in this area, contouring and defining the profile of the face. Over time, by integrating it into the treated area, the fibroblasts are stimulated to produce neocollagen, the result being perceptible for a long time.

Our draw is a result as natural as possible to your physiognomy. Our doctors prefer to use less product during the initial treatment, and during the subsequent control if it is necessary to perform a fine touch-up.

The duration of the effect after the procedure is on average one year, this may vary depending on various individual factors and lifestyle.

Before and after treatment

Before treatment:

We recommend that you arrive at the clinic approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled time, in order to have the necessary time to fill in the consents and personal data if you are visiting us for the first time.

Please let us know of any changes in your medication or nutritional supplements. We advise you not to drink alcohol the day before your treatment and to stop medications that may predispose you to hematoma, such as Ibuprofen, Naproxen or Aspirin, one week before your treatment, if your GP agrees.

After treatment:

You can immediately cool the treated area. We recommend that you avoid exposure to the sun during the first week and use daily cream with protection factor 50+. Avoid the sauna and intense physical activity for the first two days. Avoid other cosmetic treatments in the treated area during the first week. Do not massage the treated area. Two weeks after the treatment, we would like to see you again for a check-up, which is included in the price of the treatment.

Recovery time:

After treatment you may experience tenderness in the treated area and mild edema. These will soften after a few days, as will the resulting possible asymmetries. It is possible that after the procedure you will feel fine bumps in the treated area, which will disappear in a few days after the intervention.

There is a risk of producing some small hematomas, but after about a week they will disappear.

Result duration:

The final result of the treatment is visible after about one to two weeks. The average duration of the effect is about 12 months.
