Corrective treatment of post-acne scars

Corrective treatment of post-acne scars

The skin's physiological healing process involves stimulating the production of collagen and elastin fibers, but in some cases healing leaves behind an area of either fibrosis or atrophy on the affected area of skin.

Acne is a dermatologic pathology that should be treated responsibly before it leaves scars.

If you are dealing with post-acne scars or scars of any other nature, small or medium in size, at D6 we are at your disposal with techniques that will help you to make them as inconspicuous as possible:

  • Subcision and injection of diluted Radiesse or hyaluronic acid - the mechanical process of subcision removes fibrotic adhesions between the epidermis and dermis, and the subsequent injection of Radiesse/hyaluronic acid stimulates the healing process in a controlled way, significantly improving the cosmetic appearance.
  • Dermapen and mesotherapy - the microacne stimulates the epidermis smoothing process and the mesotherapy provides a cocktail of vitamins and growth factors to the epidermis, so the appearance of scars is greatly diminished.
  • Chemical peels - by removing the superficial epidermis, the complexion becomes more even. Fruit acid or TCA-based peels can be used.
