Treatment of eye dark circles

Look less tired after just one treatment
Eyes are the first thing we notice when interacting with a person. Dark circles under the eyes can make your face look more tired. Most of the time makeup can help us disguise them, but volume loss can be quite difficult to camouflage, and who doesn't want to look flawless with as little foundation as possible?
Benefits
An important role for a treatment that gives results is a correct analysis of the cause of dark circles, which are often caused by a combination of factors.
In the area around the eyes, through the physiological aging process, the skin undergoes a slight thinning and increased laxity. Moreover, in this area, the amount of adipose tissue is minimal, and in this way, through the transparency of the skin, the circles appear to have a dark appearance.
The process of bone atrophy is equally important, with the orbit widening and the tissue thus losing its underlying support.
Heredity also plays an essential role, which explains the varied age at which women choose this aesthetic procedure.
Hyaluronic acid can be the welcome solution for a fresher look with a remanence of up to several years. It fills the depressions around the eyes, reducing hyperpigmentation, making our appearance instantly more rested.
Depending on the cause of the bags under the eyes, hyaluronic acid treatment can be combined with other procedures, for a firm skin, and a volume that harmoniously continues the area of the cheekbones.
- More rested appearance
- Pigmentation reduction
- Improving skin quality
About the treatment
It is very important to take into account all the advice given in the consultation before the procedure. Not infrequently, for a natural improvement of this area, the treatment of adjacent areas, such as the cheekbones or temples, is indicated.
The procedure is very safe and comfortable for you. To make sure of this fact, we use local anesthetic at the cannula entry site. Using the cannula in this area makes the treatment very safe and the incidence of complications minimal.
In this area, our doctors use only hyaluronic acid, which is an extremely safe substance, it is also found naturally in the skin. This fact makes the rate of allergic reactions minimal. Hyaluronic acid can also be easily dissolved by hyaluronidase from any region.
We always opt for a natural result. Our doctors prefer to use less product during the initial treatment, and during the subsequent control if it is necessary to perform a fine touch-up.
The duration of the effect after the procedure is on average one year, this may vary depending on various individual factors and lifestyle.
Before and after treatment
Before treatment:
We recommend that you arrive at the clinic approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled time, in order to have the necessary time to fill in the consents and personal data if you are visiting us for the first time.
Please let us know of any changes in your medication or nutritional supplements. We advise you not to drink alcohol the day before your treatment and to stop medications that may predispose you to hematoma, such as Ibuprofen, Naproxen or Aspirin, one week before your treatment, if your GP agrees.
After treatment:
You can immediately cool the treated area. We recommend that you avoid exposure to the sun during the first week and use daily cream with protection factor 50+. Avoid the sauna and intense physical activity for the first two days. Do not massage the treated area. Two weeks after the treatment, we would like to see you again for a check-up, which is included in the price of the treatment.
Recovery time:
Most of the time this treatment does not require recovery time, but you may experience a little swelling after the treatment. There is a risk of small hematomas, but after about a week they will disappear.
Result duration:
The final result of the treatment is visible after about one to two weeks. The average duration of the effect is about 12 months.
