Corrective treatment of nasolabial sinuses

The nasolabial fold is the wrinkle that runs from the nostrils to the corner of the mouth. It plays a very important role when it comes to expressiveness, helping us to have a natural smile and convey feelings of happiness. But as we get older, this wrinkle gets deeper and deeper, giving a sad and tired expression. This can be quickly and relatively easily corrected with dermal fillers.
Treatment
A visit to the doctor that includes treatment of the nasolabial fold lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. During the injection you don't have to worry about pain, we make sure that the area is well anesthetized, either with anesthetic cream or by using local injectable anesthetic at the cannula entry site.
The treatment for the reconstitution of the lost volume is carried out using the cannula, which offers a higher safety profile and lowers the risk of possible post-procedural complications.
Often, for an optimal result, the volume should initially be restored at the level of the cheekbones, thus preventing the excessive placement of filler in the area of the nasolabial fold. The quality of the skin at this level must also be taken into account, often the wrinkle is a permanent one at the level of the dermis. For these situations, its filling is done using hyaluronic acid injected intradermally.
After treatment
After nasolabial fold treatment, you can move the injected areas as usual. Be careful not to massage or rub the injected area for the first 48 hours after treatment, unless your doctor specifically recommends it.
After the treatment, bruising or edema may occur at this level, it is recommended to cool the area. The swelling will disappear after a few days. Bruises can be camouflaged with makeup a few hours after treatment if the cannula entry points are closed. In addition, you are not allowed to do sports for 24 hours after the treatment and it is not advisable to visit the sauna or solarium for 2 weeks after the treatment.
The result
The result of the nasolabial folds treatment is optimal after 2 weeks. If you are not satisfied with the result of the treatment, you can return to your doctor for a follow-up appointment between 2 and 4 weeks after the treatment.
The effect of your hyaluronic acid treatment will last from 6 to 9 months.
