About the treatment

The treatment is carried out in a relatively short time. Before the treatment you will receive a local anesthetic injection at the cannula entry site. Whenever possible, we prefer to use the cannula instead of the needle, because we want to reduce as much as possible the risk of complications and maximize your comfort. The treatment with the cannula also ensures a pain-free treatment, as the pain receptors are mainly located on the surface of the skin.

The product is placed above the periosteum, thus harmoniously restoring the contour of the cheekbones. Hyaluronic acid is a product naturally contained in the body, which, in addition to the previously listed effects, also provides deep skin hydration and collagen stimulation.

We always opt for a natural result. Our doctors prefer to use less product during the initial treatment, and during the subsequent control if it is necessary to perform a fine touch-up.

The duration of the effect after the procedure is on average one year, this may vary depending on various individual factors and lifestyle.

Before and after treatment

Before treatment:

We recommend that you arrive at the clinic approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled time, in order to have the necessary time to fill in the consents and personal data if you are visiting us for the first time.

Please let us know of any changes in your medication or nutritional supplements. We advise you not to drink alcohol the day before your treatment and to stop medications that may predispose you to hematoma, such as Ibuprofen, Naproxen or Aspirin, one week before your treatment, if your GP agrees.

After treatment:

You can immediately cool the treated area. We recommend that you avoid exposure to the sun during the first week and use daily cream with protection factor 50+. Avoid the sauna and intense physical activity for the first two days. Do not massage the treated area. Two weeks after the treatment, we would like to see you again for a check-up, which is included in the price of the treatment.

Recovery time:

Most of the time this treatment does not require recovery time, but you may experience a little swelling after the treatment. There is a risk of small hematomas, but after about a week they will disappear.

Result duration:

The final result of the treatment is visible after about one to two weeks. The average duration of the effect is about 12 months.
